Over the Weekend- Jaz

Yeah, we're pretty cool :)

Well, Madison is cool. Me? Not so much...more 'weird' than 'cool'.
But Madison? Yeah, she's pretty cool :)

That was all her idea to put all those sunglasses on her head...I am not that creative!

I like basketball...I thought this was a cool shot. As soon as I pulled into their driveway, I wanted to take this picture. I'm not sure why...

Fell in love with these pictures as soon as I took them...I love colors and contrast :)

plus, i edited it in photoshop some...so thats kinda cheating...oops

Im in LOVE with these two shots...it looks like someone should film a dramatic movie here :)

OKAY, the picture DID come out of the camera rainbow colors...BUT THERES A REASON FOR THAT! I put a pair on sunglasses in front of the lense. Oh yeah, im smart :)

(Jaz)- Thank You, Nikon D300

Well, our (my family's) D300 has been...uhh...out of commission for the past couple months, and I have missed it dearly! But we finally got it fixed and I was able to take some pictures with it tonight! After using a Fujifilm Point-n-Shoot for the last 2 months, I was sooooo glad to finally have a professional camera again!
So the victims are my cats, Flash and Sylvia...I'm sure they hate me by now.

We take too many pictures...of ourselves! (Jaz and Mal)

You can never take too many pictures, but sometimes you can take too many of yourself! The other day, every few seconds either me or Mal would take the camera from each other and take a picture of our self.
Why wouldn't we just ask the other person to take a picture of us?
I'm not sure...because we can't think that far ahead (?)
But me and Mal had so much fun the other day. I had volunteered to help Mal's mom on a photoshoot and Mal came along too...so we ended up walking up and down the streets of the city with a reflector in one hand and a camera in the other taking pictures of anything and EVERYTHING.
...
EVERYTHING.
But that's what we're all about, right?

It's time Folks! The day you've been waiting ever so patiently for...
It's time to meet the photographers!

Mallory- The girly-girl
She loves hair, makeup, and clothes, but don't let that fool yah. She's a big Star Wars geek and is obsessed with John Williams...and music in general. Her hobby's include playing her trombone as loud as she can, listening to music, writing poetry and lyrics, and singing. Her celebrity crushes is Ewan Mcgregor and Shia Labeouf and someday hopes to star in and upcoming Star Wars movie.

Lyss- The Geeky Girl
Just like Mal and Jaz, she is a huge Star Wars fan. I mean, what is there not to like? But besides that, she has an awesome since of style and isn't afraid to be different. Probably the most in love with photography of the group, she carries her camera with her everywhere she goes and could take pictures for hours and hours...and hours

Jaz- The Tomboy Girl
Don't let the Victoria Secret PINK! sweatshirt and blue tights fool you...She is obsessed with music and loves bands like Paramore, Linkin Park, Chevelle, Flyleaf, and Three Days Grace. She can fall asleep listening to Linkin Park screaming in her ears. She loves Star Wars and also has an unhealthy obsession with Luke Skywalker and dying her hair many shades of red

Welcome from The Girls

Vines, crawling up trees. A pond of the deepest blue, painting your reflection back at you.

That's the wonderland I have in my backyard. I have been dying for spring to come, so we could have some beautiful pictures. Though Saturday the sun wasn't shining, we got some stunning pictures.

First though, I'd like to say that I'm Mallory. I'm the one with the dark wavy brown hair, I'm speckled with freckles, and I have light airy blue eyes. My best friend Jazmin, has long auburn hair and dark cloudly blue eyes.

My mom is a professional photographer and I have a fairy-tale like back yard, I have it made right? Uhm, not quite. Her being a professional, makes it that more important that they are good. She's got her opinions and lemme tell ya, she is not afriad to express them. Right now, actually, she is editing a senior. She is critiquing her own work. About me, I love music. You'll see it later in my pictures.

Jazmin, she loves music as well. Also like me, her mother is a professional photographer. She doesn't exactly have a fairytale-like backyard, but she does have a studio. A nice one at that. She also has mad editing skills, none of which I have.

And finally, we have Alyssa; our third and final photographer. Although she wasn't in our recent photoshoot, she'll be in others and she'll also post her own pictures on here. Unlike myself and Jazmin, her family isn't in love with photography, but she is an amazing photographer all by herself.
